Snehal Patel is a Los Angeles based Director and Cinematographer who teaches new camera technologies to film and television professionals.  His workshops and training sessions are popular all over the The United States and he is a guest blogger for a number of notable websites.  When he is not speaking about or writing about cameras, he is using them for his own projects to shoot a variety of commercials, films, shorts, web shows, videos and television content.

Snehal was born and raised in Chicago where he started his career in television at the age of seventeen.  After attending college for engineering and politics, he went back to school and completed a film program in Chicago.  After working as a producer and director in the Chicago film and advertising industries, he moved to Bombay, India for four years and worked in the Bollywood industry.  Snehal returned State-side five years ago and settled on the west coast.
